Shipping Parcels from Canada to the UK — What Actually Works? (75 读)
20 Apr 2026 05:15
Hey folks, I need to send a package from Canada to the UK and I’m a bit lost with all the options out there. I’m mainly looking for something affordable but still reliable. Has anyone done this recently and can share what they used?

Hey! I’ve shipped a few parcels to the UK recently, and one service that worked well for me is Meest CA (Meest Canada):https://ca.meest.com/services/service/delivery-to-united-kingdom
What I liked is that it’s pretty straightforward and doesn’t feel overcomplicated. It’s also one of the more affordable options I found for shipping from Canada to the UK, especially if you’re sending parcels regularly or on a budget.
They offer different delivery methods. Air shipping works for parcels from 5 kg up to 30 kg, while sea delivery also allows up to 30 kg. If you’re only sending something small, they also accept parcels under 2 kg, which is convenient for lighter shipments.
Another useful detail is insurance. Every parcel automatically comes with 60 CAD coverage, and if you need extra protection, you can increase it up to 800 CAD depending on the value of what you’re sending.
One thing to keep in mind is customs. If the declared value goes over the UK duty-free limit, the recipient may need to pay import taxes or duties. Once it arrives in the UK, the final delivery is handled by local courier partners, so it still gets delivered smoothly to the address.
Overall, it’s been a solid experience — not complicated, reasonably priced, and fairly reliable.
