Nam Mae Oak Hu, New travel destination update for local people, Mae Jam area just over two hours drive from Chiang Mai, Mae Chaem is a hub with spokes leading to Chiang Mai via Doi Inthanon, Pai, Mae Hong Sorn, Mae Sarieng, Hot, and link towns along the rectangular highway route that frames the valley. Exploring it requires a car or a motorbike (rentable in town) and some guidance since there aren’t a lot of signs. But it is worth the effort.
