This place has a beautiful golden chedi (stupa). It is visited by many people, not only tourists from overseas but Thai local people as well. You can go up the long flight of stairs, 306 steps, to reach the temple while enjoying the nature around. Doi Pui is one of the few places close to town to meet and chat with the Hmong ethnic hill-tribe as well as learn about their way of live from the living museum.
