Smile Elephant Sanctuary is an ethical and sustainable eco-tourism project located in the Mae Taeng River Chiang Mai, Thailand. It is a cooperative between members of the Thai traditional people who are elephant caretakers and Chiang Mai locals who work with Thai traditional people and elephants for many years and are concerned about elephant's health and quality of life.

HALF DAY VISIT
Morning Pick-up time : 08.00 - 08.30 AM
Afternoon Pick-up time : 12:00 - 12.30 PM
Pick up from your hotel or accommodation in Chiang Mai city.
-Drive approximately 1.5 hours North of Chiang Mai through the countryside, forest, and local farming areas.
-Arrive at the Smile Elephant Sanctuary and change into Traditional cloth.
-Meet the elephants, feed, interact, and play with the elephants in the natural environment and learn about their behaviour and history. -Make herb balls, Take photos with the elephants.
-Walk with elephants along the Mae Taeng River and surrounding areas where elephants live around 30 min.
-Enjoy bathing, and brushing the elephants.
-Have lunch/Dinner Thai food and seasonal fruits.
-Change clothes and say goodbye to the elephants.
Leave Smile Elephant Sanctuary and drive approximately 1.5 hours
back to Chiang Mai city and drop off at your hotel or accommodation.
